Secure TCP, which certificate ?

Hi Community,

My Kiwi NG 1.4 receives all snmp v3 from my equipements (fw, storage, ESX, …) traps but no syslog traps.

I have to use Secure TCP with TLS 1.3 only. Logs show "The server mode SSL must use a certificate with the associated private key". I suppose I have to export Kiwi NG as pfx…or am I totally wrong ?

Does anyone use Secure TCP ?

Your issue likely stems from the certificate configuration, based on the error in the logs: "The server mode SSL must use a certificate with the associated private key." This is a common .NET-based SSL/TLS error indicating that the selected server certificate lacks its corresponding private key in the Windows certificate store. SNMP traps typically use UDP (port 162) or non-TLS TCP, so they're unaffected, but syslog over Secure TCP requires a valid TLS handshake, which fails without the private key.
