I've recently upgraded to a release with the revised 2025.2 Maintenance Scheduling and have several requests.
- A centralized widget to display all upcoming nodes and their maintenance schedules. It would be even more ideal to have filters such as a timeframes (e.g. only occurring within next seven days), frequencies (e.g. reoccurring and/or more likely just one-offs or specific dates), etc. We currently have a SWQL query from Orion.AlertSuppression for this, but it appears that Maintenance Schedules stores data as cron jobs.
- Consistency between Manage Nodes and Manage Entities for scheduling maintenance. Why does the legacy Manage Nodes screen leverage the new Maintenance Scheduling, but the modern Manage Entities schedules maintenance the old way?
- A method for past, specific date/one-off maintenance schedules to be automatically purged from the system.
The result would be that maintenance schedules for small sets of servers that only occur once are easily discoverable/viewable and automatically clean up the schedules after the window has passed.
