We would like to request a feature enhancement for SolarWinds Orion Maps.
Currently, an object (such as a node, interface, or group) can only be added once to a single Orion Map. In complex or layered network diagrams, this limitation makes it difficult to represent the same device in multiple logical or visual locations.
We are requesting the ability to add the same object multiple times to the same Orion Map, with each instance acting as a visual reference to the same underlying object (similar to how Network Atlas allowed this functionality).
This enhancement would significantly improve:
Map flexibility and readability
Logical and service-based topology representations
Migration from Network Atlas to Orion Maps
