In the latest SolarWinds platform versions, the Simulate feature for Alerts has been removed due to security considerations.

While we can still see the HTML content once an alert email is triggered, this is not practical for day-to-day operations.
When creating or modifying alert message contents, not being able to simulate the output significantly slows down the workflow. Executing the alert every time just to validate the message format introduces unnecessary operational overhead.
We would like to request a secure and restricted version of the Alert Simulation capability to be brought back—specifically for previewing the alert message body while editing. This would greatly improve efficiency without compromising security.
