For the past couple of years, we've had a custom property that denotes the SCCM scheduled update window. We would love to see custom properties somehow tied to the new recurring maintenance period that was just released.
I would think the most logical way of doing that would be to add a new field in the Manage Schedules view for custom properties that ties the custom property and the schedule together.
Something like this:
The schedule CP name is called "Schedule #1"
Then the CP can be assigned as part of the node CP, which then ties the two togher.
Or another option would be to mirror the change custom property alert but have it set the recurring maintenance schedule.
Eitherway, I'm looking for a way to automate the process and to be dynamically changed as needed.
