IF YOU TAKE THIS POLL BEFORE FRIDAY AUGUST 18TH OR FROM THE COMMAND CENTER VS. THE MISSION, YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE MISSION CREDIT
But I only agree because it's much easier to deal with interruptions if I can pause the class.
On demand is more effective for me because I can do it on my time without interruptions from the people in the office. It is nice to have the opportunity to ask questions in a live class, so if I can set aside the time, and not be interrupted, the live classes are pretty awesome.
Hmm need a both.. I like some of the shorter topics, or the more specific focused how to's. The live training is great to be able to ask questions and stump trainer. LOL. I like both, one for focused content that I need NOW, and the other to ingest really new or unusual stuff when I can interact.
Agree with the comments (so far) there's a time and place for each learning format. 15-20 minute on-demand classes with the scope of a single topic, @marcrobinson to emphasize/agree with his point.
I actually like the live classes. I have taken several classes over the years and the live interaction and ability to ask questions with the trainers right there and follow along in your live environment, is so beneficial. I recommend the live classes over the recorded any time. However, the recorded classes are good for refreshing and revisiting material you maybe are weaker on where you can watch it over and over.
It rteally depends on the topic/class. On-demand is great for the flexibility, but sometimes you want the direct live interaction.
On Demand training is good. I like it. You can rewatch what you don't understand.
I prefer in person training though. If you don't understand something, I can ask a specific question.
My answer overall. you should use both resources. You can't get in person training all the time. You can get videos when you can't get an instructor.
Both formats have pro and con, but for me live in person it top dog. Next is a live stream followed by on-demand
I agree about the interruptions, but you can never beat asking a question live!
In-person training is the best, but it's expensive and requires travelling and dedicated time. On-demand is not quite as good, but it completely negates all the in-person disadvantages
Agree but I disagreed.
