We have a contract for all of north America. All ~1600 location Run on SDWAN with managed by Windstream with a 5 9's SLA. when paired with a Windstream access circuit. We have HA and Single units depending on the location.
Not currently using SD-WAN at HQ, but quite a few of my clients do.

we have moved to Meraki SDWAN is great success. Downtime is mostly eliminated and our security posture is greatly enhanced whil providing significant response time decreases for products like O365
A small internal team maintains the whole SDWAN network
we're not using it in-house, but it seems to be becoming the norm for clients
