Second question is not correct.

Application Performance Monitoring is NOT the same as Application Performance Management.

Monitoring is just as it states "AppOptics provides real-time visibility into any application by collecting both high-fidelity metrics and detailed transaction traces." Management on the other hand involves making changes to options/settings on the device. Two different beasts.

You are right my friend. management is not the same thing as monitoring. So question number 2 should be corrected. I also got it "wrong"...

Perhaps it could be worded better but the answers are in three big blocks at the top of the page... I think it was pretty obvious what they were going for. I looked at the pricing and for Enterprise licensing it doesn't seem like appoptics is that cheap really. If you had 3000 nodes x 20$/month = 60000 $ per month x 12 = 720000$. Is that pricing really right???

The new animated gif for the thwack logo at top of the page is pretty neat too... Winter Olympics.
