Would like to see the ability to create custom property fields per asset type. For example in our WHD we track desktops. laptops. mobile phone, mobile data hotspots. I have custom properties setup for Mobile Carrier, Mobile Carrier Account No. etc...these field primarily only apply to certain types of devices. I also track network gear, routers, switches etc. I have a custom field called Cisco Smartnet that contains the Smartnet contract number. Would be nice to either base that on manufacturer at least the type of equipment as we're mostly a Cisco shop.
