Switch Stack Individual Switch Monitoring

It would be great if there was a way in NPM to monitor the individual switches in an Aruba/HPE-Aruba stack. Looking for a feature that would allow NPM to monitor the status of each individual switch as a sub-component of the overall stack monitoring so we would get an alert if an individual switch crashed. We can monitor the status of Cisco switches within a stack but not Aruba/HPE switches. For example, if the stack has 4 switches in it, it would be nice to get an alert that switch 2 is down so we can be proactive as opposed to reactive.

It is not only NPM that need the Aruba support we also need the Aruba stack support for NCM and NTM. Without full support in the product line we are forced to look for a different solution for our network topology because we have Aruba stack every where it is our primary network vendor. With current support we can't make inventory/asset management either, because it doesnt show all seperat serial numbers. I guess our network guy's have went to the ekstrem with the stack functionality because a site seen from the out side is just 1 stack, even it covers +8 switches which are distributed over the hole site.

Did anyone ever look into this.

I am running into the same issue that we have Aruba / HPE stacked modules... However only the primary is registered into the system and if a single part of the stack drops and reboots, it flags that the whole device has rebooted (though not the case).

Yes this would be great to have since 99% of our switches are either HP or Aruba.

I just don't understand why Solarwinds can't make a native poller for Aruba stacks, it's not like they are new technology. Aruba/ProCurveOS stacking has been around for decades!
