Hello,
Currently my Group company has sold a sub-set of its enterprise to another owner.
As part of the segregation process, certain servers in one Active Directory domain have to be migrated to another Domain.
SolarWinds have confirmed (via Case # 01001408) that the ability to alter the Domain of a monitored host in the SQL Sentry product, is not currently available.
As a result once a server has been migrated, the monitoring of the server and SQL instances breaks.
The only option is to delete the monitored host, so losing all of the historical baseline data and re-adding the host and essentially starting from scratch.
The following images are of a non-production server, showing before / post domain migration - domain and IP information has been obfuscated.
Before (Black is the original domain) domain migration

Post domain migration, red being the new sub-domain

Within SQL Sentry the new domain is not reflected.

Attempts to run the [Scan for Configuration Changes] timeout with no success.

I would like to suggest a feature be included within SQL Sentry to allow the alteration of the Domain for a monitored host, post its migration.
Thank you for considering the above.
Kind regards,
Chris
