Create the ability to place access points on a map when the access point are learned from a wireless controller.

Create the ability to place access points on a map when the access point are learned from a wireless controller ( Case # - 01549390). As of now, access points can only be placed on a map ONLY when they are learned through traditional "Network Discovery".

In version 2024.1 I can add the descendants to the Controller Map

You can already do this in both Network Atlas and Orion Maps.

Either tool it is slightly different to locate but for NA you find the WLC that hosts the AP in the bottom expanding box, then expand the WLC out. All visible APs will be seen.

For OM, type in the WLC name and once it returns the result(s) hover over the WLC and click the 3 dots that appear and then scroll down and click on 'show related entities'. You can then sub-search for your AP.
