In my work I deal with migrating SolarWinds customers from old and busted instances, to new (hotness) platforms, sometimes migrating basic node information, reports and whatnot, but not the entire database.
It is also common, given that node names and such are the same in both instances, for Advanced Alerts to be migrated between the two in these examples. In the (now legacy) Advanced Alert manager, the functionality is there to export and import alert definitions, but this has to be done one at a time.A laborious process when you have a large number to migrate. I haven't used the Web Alert Manger which comes with NPM 11.5 yet, but from the demo site, it looks like these restrictions remain.
Could I request that the devs look into adding this functionality in?
