Maintenance Mode Customization For users In SolarWinds

Hi Team,

We are using NPM version 2020.2.6 and we have a option to Enable/Disable the Maintenance Mode which includes Unmanage/Unmute/Schedule Mode.

Though, I want to restrict the Maintenance Mode access for some users in our environment so that Only Admins have a access to keep the Nodes in Unmanage/Unmute/Schedule Mode.

And Other users should have access among one of the above options (Unmanage/Unmute/Schedule) not all.

Below are some examples

Example:-

User 1:- We want to give access to Unmanage/Manage the node only ( Other options should be disabled for this user)

User 2:- We want to give access to Unmute/mute the node only ( Other options should be disabled for this user)

User 3:- We want to give access to Schedule the node only ( Other options should be disabled for this user)

Kindly Help to get this feature in the environment to make access more restricted.

Agreed and I've voted this up, but this very much fits in with SolarWInds addressing user rights granularity.

This aspect would hiopefully be addressed by this FR: https://thwack.solarwinds.com/product-forums/network-performance-monitor-npm/i/feature-requests/granular-node-management-rights

I Agree I have several groups and offices that need more detailed security settings. on what can be and not be accessed. Currently we use Custom Properties to limit the views of nodes to prevent this access but it should be a security setting. Also a nice alert to setup a email notification ' log entry on which account makes changes to these node setting would be nice.
