This is an alternative to or to be used in conjunction with the Limitation option.
I have a scenario in which we need to have 99% of our resources visible in a view but the Alerts from 4 nodes from a Test environment are dominating the Events list on our NOC display. Some of these test events are expected to be warnings /failures due to nature of the tests we need to run.
Having a suppression option would require less admin and reduce the possibility of human error as adding new 'Applications', 'Nodes', 'Components' etc could be missed if Limitations are not kept up to date.
