In WHD 12.1 I just found out that if the Client changes their Location (which we allow our users to do) on the Help Request tab that this change does NOT effect those Request Types that are limited to a particular Location Group (which most of ours are). If the Client first goes to their Profile tab and changes the Location there, then goes to the Help Request tab the Request Types presented are changed. However this Location change is permanent.
I suggest that when the Location on the Help Request layout changes that the Request Types displayed also changes to coincide. This reduces a lot of confuse for the Client, it allows better control of the Help Requests presented, and is a lot less work for the Client.
I like the feature that the Help Request Location is not a permanent change of the Location associated with the Client profile unless they change it in the Profile tab. By letting my traveling Clients to temporarily change their Location to the match their current location (they are in the LA office not the Chicago office) the ticket will be routed to the correct help desk techs without permanently changing their home office location.
