We would really like the location group to be able to be visible from the ticket queue. This would make it easier to sort tickets when looking for tickets in a specific group rather than remembering which location is in which group. We could also then filter/sort in Excel after downloading a TSV of tickets rather than searching by individual groups and downloading different TSV files for each.
Example: Our company owns hundreds of fast food restaurants so each restaurant is a location. Each location is then assigned a location group based on the District Manager and Regional Manager. So we would have group "District A (Region A)" with locations 1-10, group "District B (Region A)" with locations 11-15, and group "District A (Region
" with locations 16-20. From there we could download a TSV of any open tickets and use a pivot table to show how many tickets are for each location group (or district in our case) or filter the ticket list to show only a certain district or region.
As the system is currently set up, we have to run individual reports for each district. This is very time-consuming when we have 100+ districts and have to run reports for each one every week and download individual files for each district and combine them into workbooks by region.
