Ability to define Critical and non-critical status of a group so that you could use a red/yellow status. Red if a critical component is down and yellow if non-critical component is down.
Could you further describe your use case? You can today define warning and critical thresholds for components of an application and add these to a group. Depending on how the group status is defined (worst/best/mixed) the status of the group will reflect the health of the components contained therein.
We have several applications that have dependencies on other applications. What we are looking for is that the group ABC has its critical components such as nodes, applications, transactions and then also has group DEF in it which is an application that it depends on but would not be critical just degraded if it is down. What we are doing now is using a map like below. The dependencies group will turn yellow if any of the apps in it are down.
