Feature request for Cisco ACI networks in Network Performance Monitor.
It would be very beneficial to be able to monitor an ACI APIC from NPM. Gather the same type of statics from the APIC's and gauge performance.
This feature is Require urgently for Software Defined Network Monitoring
At the moment I am monitoring a few customer fabrics - getting SNMP data from the leaves, but having the ability to get ACI-level metrics from the APICs would be hugely beneficial. I can already get this information from the APIC, but integrating the important information into a single console would be very desirable for what I want to see (and passing on a single pane of glass to a managed customer).
ACI is becoming a thing SolarWinds. Don't be left behind.
SolarWinds Team,
With Cisco heavily pushing Tetration, they are beginning to really move into traditional SW space. The longer you ignore this feature, the more reason you give your customers to move on and find options that better fit their needs. As more networks move towards an application centric model, the less useful SolarWinds becomes.
...just to pile on here, we deployed the leaves/spines this weekend and plan on going full prod Q3.Native Orion support would be huge.
I think ACI monitoring is in the new NPM beta that just started... I've seen some screenshots of it and it looks like it going in the right direction. If you can setup a beta environment I'd say join the beta program.
Yes please. Our datacenters are all running ACI and the infrastructure team really would love this in Solarwinds.
We're working on this!
Marked as implemented. This was released in NPM 12.4. NPM 12.4 Is Now Generally Available!
I SAW THIS COME OUT THIS WEEKEND! On one had I growl at you for giving me *SOMETHING ELSE* to do now, but at the same time THANK YOU FOR THIS!!! I'll be applying this update next week (who does these things on a Friday??!!)
