For using Solarwinds as a complete Storage Performance Monitoring Tool in a large Datacenter with a heterogeneous environment, it would be very important, aside of storage systems, to get automatically Data from Brocade BNA (Brocade Network Advisor) into Solarwinds NPM by an Interface supported by NPM and BNA (i.e. SMI-S, SNMP, WMI, ODBC or another way, which is supported by Solarwinds and BNA).
Due to Performance issues, it’s not possible for us, to connect Solarwinds NPM to the switches directly in the production system. BNA nevertheless has to connect to the switches and BNA provides all the data we need.
What do you think about that ?
