My company is implementing DAGs over the course of the next several months, having already implemented one for one our instances, and we would like the ability to view DAG health in addition to non-distributed AG health.
There are 2 issues. The first is that if you have a Distributed Availability group you lose ALL AG monitoring and alerts. The second is to have monitoring of Distributed availability groups. At the current time the first is the most important to fix because now I lost all alerts for AG. Why does having a DAG turn off the monitoring for AG??
