Would like something similar to Google's email page view where you have unread section at top, important items (flagged) below that with a ability to customize how many are shown at one time in this section, and then read emails (in this case tickets that have been assigned or otherwise updated).
Unread - new open tickets
Important - flagged tickets
Updated tickets that are being worked on but are not flagged
Reasoning for this is our HR department creates tickets for new hires and employee departures. Some of these items are not happening for 1, 2, or 3 weeks into the future so they don't have to be worked on right now, but we don't want to forget about them and run into issues later. I like the way google email allows you to change your view to show a set number of important emails in a separate section but still in the Inbox page. There may be better ways of doing this that I'm not aware of but would like to see something like this implemented.
