IPAM has some options to control the scanning behavior for SNMP and ICMP.
But there is no option to control if we want to perform DNS requests as in other features like NPM or NTA.
It should be useful to have this option because for every ICMP request that is successfully resolved IPAM tries to get the hostname through DNS which is great except when your DNS server has a lot of requests and stops responding.
Right now if we want to avoid this behavior we have to stop ICMP scans that should be enabled to automatically know if some IPs are in use.
