We have found a feature that would be awesome in NPM / SAM. We have a few of us here that take care of all of the alerting aspects of SolarWinds. We think it would be a huge benefit to be able to turn on change management for the alerts. Forced notes, time/date stamp, etc. It would be even more amazing if there were an ability to add approvers/approvals prior to the alert going into effect. (Kind of like with the NCM change management). We make a lot of changes, and we do not always document why those changes were made. Some one was added to an alert, someone was removed from an alert. It would help us out, because forced notes with time stamps, etc. would force us to document what ticket we are working from. This would in turn deplete some of the issues we have with remembering why someone was added/removed from an alert. Why this alert is now functioning this way, etc.
