Add Machine type support for Nexus 9Ks

Presently the machine type for nexus 9000 switches is not included. This request is to add the 9K machine types so that Nexus 9K switches can be searched on and reported on. Orion is showing the proper model numbers in the hardware Cisco NX 9000 machine type 1.png detail "model" field but that is not searchable.

I'm a little reluctant to even ask why support requested this FR with Network Insight for Cisco Nexus coming in the next Beta, but I'll vote it up.

Is there any progress in this ?

I have the same comon issue. This is not just about Nexus , the same is with any vendor like Cisco, Huawei, Juniter, fortigate atc.

New devices are detected as "Vendor only" , we have a lot of Cisco NCS540 , a lot of Huawei switches, juniper as well. Many new devices is not recognized at SNMP OID level as separate Machine Type

Why not make this thing user-definable?

I know system OID
I know system type

= I can create Machine type by myself (why we have to wait until somebody make it, but sometimes no one does it as in case of Huawei switches)
