We utilize request type hierarchies with multiple levels...the deeper of which may not visible to clients. I'd like to have the option (by parent request type) of forcing the tech to select the next level request type (only visible to techs). Here's an example of my requirement...
- A user selects a "new hardware" request type.
- A tech opens the ticket and before saving any changes must select the next level request type...in my example "> $500" or "< $500" (new hardware - > $500).
This would allow me to manually trigger an approval process based on the cost of the hardware as well as require additional custom fields to be populated (exact cost for example).
