FEATURE REQUEST - Custom field data import

Create a web API which allows external data to be imported and displayed in custom fields, then saved to the Web Help Desk database. For instance, we've created a ticket custom field named "Project" which we would like to auto complete with JSON formatted data from an external database when clients or techs enter text. We don't know of any current API implementations which allow for the import and display of external data within WHD. We think it would be a useful feature for integrating with other external project management software.

As an example, here is the patch file for the changes we added to HelpRequest.html. It relies on jQuery and jQueryUI.

The 'DOMNodeInserted' is a unusual event for which to listen. It would be more explicit to use jQuery to trigger a custom event to which this code could be registered. The event trigger could then add context to the event via the 'extraParameters' form of 'trigger()'

The selector is also fragile and relies sensitively on the the structure of the page.

The "services/projects" feed services a URL like:
/services/projects?filter=project999&callback=foo

...and returns results like:

1. The fragility/ambiguity of the selector.
2. The fragility/ambiguity of the event type.
