Currently, clicking anywhere in a record row in the asset search results list will open the detail page for that asset. This makes it almost impossible to select data in the list view (such as serial numbers) for copying to the clipboard for other uses without going to the detail page, and makes the process of copying data much more cumbersome.
In older versions of WHD (8?), only the asset number was a click target for going to the detail view (hence the blue bubble around it). This behavior was much more versatile and useful for us. If there is a significant number of WHD users that like the entire row "hot" for clicking to open the detail view, perhaps add a preference setting to toggle the behavior.
