Should the Virtual Appliance (I'm running WHD 12.2.0 - Build #12.2.0.9028-HF1-385141) be running VMware Tools? If not, why? Mine doesn't seem to be, although VMware Tools 8.6.0.6261 (build-425873) is installed.
Hm it should be running. You can always start it with "s/etc/vmware-tools/services.sh start".
