Add a setting to either embed videos in notes or to just list the URL.
If I'm understanding this topic correctly, I actually logged it as a bug in a case with Solarwinds. As it stands if you type a YouTube URL, for example, in a Tech Note, the video is automatically embedded in the tech note in the web interface. Great! However, when that ticket is emailed to the client, not only is the video not embedded but the URL is completely stripped from the note! To me, that's a bug. It has caused me to write to a client, "Please watch the following video ..." and the client writes back to say they have no idea what I'm talking about because there's nothing there. To me, that's a bug.
