Manage Nodes menu option for non-admins

With the release of modern dashboards the "Settings" menu now shows for non-admin users. However, the "Manage Nodes" link still doesn't show for non-admins, even if they have the "Allow Node Management Rights". Please show the "Manage Nodes" link for anybody that has the "Allow Node Management Rights".

If a user/group has 'Node Management' permissions you can simply add the Manage Nodes link to their menu bar (All Settings -> Customize Menu Bars).

The Settings menu is only available to Orion admins.

@ioan_bucsa That is not true anymore. Non-admins do see the settings menu since the release of modern dashboards. Being the menu is there, it should be an easy fix to show the manage nodes link to those that have permissions. Burying it in a "My Dashboards" menu isn't ideal. Navigation in general could use some fixing with all of the broken bread crumbs, unsorted drop downs, etc. But this should be an easy win.

Bump. Yes: if they have node management rights, allow them to manage nodes from the "same place" that this option appears for admins. The workaround to add the "Manage Nodes" to the Home menu bar is ok, and works, but ... why make everyone do this vs "just make the 'Node Management' option under settings visible to those who have these rights, especially in 2024 where the "Manage Dashboards" link already exists. We have multiple interstellar probes that have left the heliosphere years ago, space stations with people living in them. We are making breakthroughs in quantum computing, fusion reactors, self-driving cars and self-piloting drones. I think we can do this

Bump, but with a caveat, you can current build something like Manage Nodes for non-admins with modern dashboards. Plus you build can run circles around the default Manage Nodes or Manage Entities, cause your building it for your environment. That's what did and people love it, but I built it out of the need for the very thing your asking for.

For SolarWinds engineers, gkjono and anyone who's interested here's the SWQL command to build yourself a modern dashboard that replicates the manage nodes for non-admins. Something that this SWQL command does that nothing in SW does is it shows the Cisco stack numbers, which stack member is the leader or the follower and it supplies the serial number for the stack members. This is a big deal if your a Cisco shop.
