We regularly want to search for snmp-trap messages, of a certain type. Snmp-traps are often coming from a particular device, that sends out thousands traps, before the root cause has been solved. Because there is a maximum of 2000 messages (why?), you can only go back a few days in the alarmhistory. If we had a way to filter out the messages of a particular device, ip-address, or network, this would improve the tool a lot. By simply adding an extra "Negate" checkpoint to the gui, to negate the underlaying select statement, this could be achieved with minimal effort.
I know there a a lot of idea's to restyle the message center, maybe it is possible to implement this minor change in the next version ? ;-)
