HPE changed the available HW health monitoring method with the Gen10 servers (ILO 5) from WMI to SNMP. Before Gen10 we were able to monitor the HPE servers via WMI queries and with this polling method, we can see the overall HW health status and the application's status (like Hyper-V). With SNMP, we only see the overall HW health status and we need to add the server again to SolarWinds Orion with the WMI polling options to see the OS and applications statuses. So the HPE Gen10 servers are appearing twice in Orion. I think, that from the node management perspective it`s a good idea to add the node merging option tho SolarWinds Orion.
