I would love to see a system or a dashboard, or something that shows all the orphan stuff around. For instance, I have some orphan application scanners (Orphaned / Corrupt Application Scanners/Templates ) out there. Classically, I need to review many of these orphans from large lists that I need to hunt for 'unknown status.' I've seen orphans with application scanners, interfaces (yup, interfaces that are in SW, but not attached to anything), application templates, and I think I've seen orphaned drives as well. Currently, the best I can do for most of them is to 'unmanage' them, but they still stay around.
With that dashboard, I'd like to see an easy way to either:
A) Delete that orphan, or
Reattach that orphan to a node (not sure if this one is possible or even a good idea)
And, reporting on the orphans would be icing on the cake, such as an admin report that shows all the historic changes on that particular orphan to find out what the heck happened.
Sure, I can dive into SQL and make a mess that way, but I'd like to not create myself more work :-)
