Hi all - I submitted this to the support team, they put it up to the developers, but they thought I should add it here, too, for voting.
Currently, when you are sending files to someone in the FTP Voyager or web UI for Serv-U, the notifications go out based on rules, and they go out for *each file*.
Where we work, we have deliveries of files (mulitiple at a time) that are going to teams of people. We would like to have the ability to send a group of files, and only be notified with an email when the "delivery" is completely uploaded and ready for download.
Besides the normal email features (sent by, to whome subject line, etc), The email notification would have these traits:
1. a link to the download (to download all files, zipped up or loose (option given at time of download)
2. date uploaded
3. date or duration on how long the files will remain on the server (based off auto-deletion rules)
4. a list of the files sent,
5. md5 hash of those files (fingerprint)
any or all of those features in the email would be great.
Thanks,
Peter
