Case # - 01575213: In IPAM there should be an option to restrict user account to access DNS functionality.

we have large environment, so we required to provide different level of permissions to users. As of now we required to restrict some users to access DNS part. So, for IPAM module there should be additional role or permissions to define which user can access the DHCP part and which user can access the DNS part.

 

First Suggestion: For IPAM module there should be additional role or permissions between “Power user” and “Operator” to define which user can access the DHCP part and which user can access the DNS part.

Second suggestion: I have one more suggestion for same issue, the option which is showing together in IPAM menu “DHCP & DNS management” if any chance divide into two separate options so we can hide this DHCP or DNS as per requirement by using “Menu customization”.

 Please mark my requirement and suggestion which I shared above as feature request.

Kindly please take this as feature request. this feature for separate the DHCP and DNS part into IPAM will be most useful for us because we have large environment, so we need to give DNS access for few users only and for few users we need to restrict but for now in IPAM there is no roles or option to separate the DHCP and DNS functions.
