I would like to be able to remove the "VoIP licensed phones limit exceeded" from events. it is spamming the event log.

I agree. This would be a nice feature to be able to disable these alerts. They are filling the event logs and making it difficult to find necessary warnings and alerts.
This is a great sales tool annoy people into submision otherwise it is awful for the customer as you cannot search events.
There is a MAX Phones settings that may help this - along with increasing your Call Manager Polling interval (There are times when our system does not finish the poll before the interval is up and then this message is displayed)
I agree this could be improved. I tend to use the Message Center rather than Events since it has some filtering and a search feature. Events doesn't have search, but you can enable only events and then do a search in Message Center. But even that could have improved filtering, maybe with multiple levels of filtering.

I Agree. We use VNQM to monitor the Call manager servers, IPSLA and Voice Gateways but not Call records (We have another product for that).
As already stated these messages are a real nuisance and we will never be upgrading the license for a feature that we do not use.
