When I was putting together serveral Request types I realized that the one to one relationship between Request Type and Location Group was causing me to do a lot of extra work. There were several times when more that one location group shared a request type. Since there is already an ability to select several locations for one request type (aka a one to many relationship), couldn't that same time of function be extended to Location Groups?
Location Groups are great for narrowing the choices that a Client chooses from based on where they are located. Our Location groups have as few as 4 locations or as many as 40 locations. But when a new location is added to our company (and for us this is 3 or 5 times a week), just adding the location to the Location Group makes things very easy. If I have to go back to some of the Request Types where I have selected individual location in order to combine two or more Location Groups, it is really a lot more work.
