Support for NQA

IPSla is the Cisco propriety version of NQA which is used by HP and many others. It has an almost identical command set. As Cisco is not the only 'game' in town in the router and switch SW already supports sFLOW, the alternative to NetFlow how about adding support to IPSla for NQA? I am sure many of your customers would support this request

Can you provide a standards-reference for NQA? I'm trying to find out if this is the same as Juniper's RPM (which is what I would like from IPSLA)

any success with looking for it ? I am on huawei platform now, and they have only NQA... so i am tryign to cehck how to get info from NQA to solarwinds...

This is a must have feature not everyone uses Cisco.

hello guys... for me it is realy suprising , soalrwinds do not pay attention for this feature request.. .. i found way of integrating NQA, and juniper RPM to solarwinds, and we use it on daily bases to many NQA.... it is without fancy UI web provisioning, but it WORKS (and no need for ip sla module)... i am realy asking myself. why is solarwinds so focused on cisco

i have the Huawei Data Comm Network with Huawei VOIP server, i have asked from solar wind to support / integrate the NQA with solar wind but infortunaley no answer. Mraky can you please explain how you achieved the integration.

Definitely solar wind should also release the official version for NQA.

Hi,

"integration" is a bit overstatement i am using solarwinds to fetch rpm/nqa data from huawei ne40/junipers via snmp...

then i am pushing collected data to elasticsearch database. Kibana (its elasticsearch module) is used for presentation...

when i want to add/del new rpm/nqa, i simply add/del manualy nqa/rpm to element ( its just few commands anyway ), and rest is done automatically with next pull.

my solution have few problems:

- i had no time to unify it under 1 project.

- adding, removing must be done manually

- for my purposes was enough to cover icmp & jitter app...

if you are still interested, i can summarise it bit. ( but again i need to find a time for it )
