Our help desk technicians use the assets to determine which computer a user is currently logged into and launch mini remote control on that asset. This is done by synchronizing the Asset database with a lansweeper database every 30 minutes. Since we are in a hospital a nurse may move around to multiple computers and so each asset that the person has logged in to shows up in the asset list when searching their name. If we could sort by last_updated asset then we could determine which computer they were logged into most recently.
