Look-up ticket number in "My Tickets"

How often are we asked to look up ticket number "1234". To look into a particular ticket one has to:

"Search Tickets"
"Basic Search"
"Ticket no."

Wouldn't it be nice to have a field (box) in "My Tickets" just to enter the ticket number?

Great idea! Here's what I use right now as a bookmarklet:

That's more of less what we do but I think some explanation is needed.

https://[alias.your-domain]/helpdesk/WebObjects/Helpdesk.woa/wa/TicketActions/view?ticket=[ticket#] where the first bracket is you org's whd url is and the last bracket is the ticket number to lookup. Using this full url will zip you straight to the ticket, or if you already have a ticket you're viewing, just replace the ticket number on the end and hit enter.
