Orion/NPM Ports checker tool

I would be delighted to have a port checker in order to make sure the needed ports are opened between my different pollers or other key servers (AWE, SQL, NTA flow storage etc...)and my main server. A small tool like the permission checker, but applied to connectivity check could be usefull. If ports are blocked at the Windows Firewall level, it could, as a bonus, modify or guide to resolution.

I see that as an added value to install process, and whenever we have to make sure the system is healthy.

This is a good idea and shouldn't be too hard to implement considering checking network ports is already a part of the SolarWinds Active Diagnostics.

Half of the job is done The Active Diagnostic validate that a process is listening on a given port, but not if traffic is sent between two servers on that same port...
