SAM agent: poll by agent for credential (even if SNMP)

In all of the current SAM configurations for application monitors, the options are "Inherit windows credential from node". That doesn't work for server-polled passive agents, where there is no technical windows credential set and everything is done through the agent's access.

Can that be changed so that we can get templates to work, even on machines that are not polled exclusively through the agent? I'd like to do SNMP + agent for windows credential needs. Granted this works when I'm polling by agent, but multiple polling methods are definitely needed.

Inherit Credential from Node should work using the Agent without issue for anything that requires Windows operating system access. This includes things like IIS, Windows DNS, DHCP Services, Active Directory, etc. etc.. Credentials can be specified for those applications that utilize application specific credentials, such as Exchange, SQL, Oracle, MySQL, etc.

This is true, but I'm talking about polling via SNMP with an agent installed - where the default polling method selected is not Agent, but instead SNMP. This is for reasons of NPM -> NTA integration. More along the lines of
