Left hand navigation shouldn't inherit view limitation

I've found great use in the left hand navigation screens. Not so much for the NOC, but for myself and other application owners. The screens tend to get crowded, and it sure would be nice to use left hand navigation without every tab inheriting the view limitation of the top tab. Can you code it to where each left hand tab can have its own view limitation? That way, if a person had many applications that they were responsible for, you could separate it that way. Also, the fact that the tabs inherit view limitations makes it difficult when you're trying to create multiple application detail or component details attributed to different servers. There's a list of report options for each, but what I may want to use is only in report type A instead of report type B.

I really need this feature as well.

I am trying to create Tabbed views by network function on my Home-Summary page.

One tab for Backbone routers, PEs and ABRs (transport network), Telepresence, Edge DMZs, etc.

I also find it cumbersome having to recreate the same view many times for each tab.

Copying existing views to new tabs would be very helpful.

I needed this option as well, after a bit of digging, I found a work around.

Create the View you want, with ( or without ) the View Limitation.

Create the Left Hand Nav page, but set the only item to be custom HTML.

I use the code...

And have it sized as I need to, then I get my filtered view in a single page, embedded in the Left Hand Nav View.

It's not perfect, but definitely works.

I would like to add an 'admin' tab for use ONLY by designated admins that is specific to that node (telnet, RDP, pwd, audit, etc access). I have a support tier that needs to 'view' the device information, but do not require access to admin related functions or information.
