Exclude test servers from vCenter that exist also exist in Production.

I would like a feature to block SAM from seeing a certain VM through the vCenter. I have some virtual production servers that also exist in a totally isolated 'Sandbox' environment. They are not connected to my production network at all. These test servers have the same name and IP address as the 'Live' servers but work fine as the two networks are totally isolated. The problem is that SAM sees both servers and joins that data together, in this case my production server is physical and the test one is virtual. If I could get SAM to ''ignore the test server then my production server would report correctly. I have not added the test server to SAM but SAM has picked it up through the vCentre server.

This is already possible today. Simply create a new vCenter account that does not have permissions to the guests in the 'Sandbox' environment. When you log into the vCenter console using that account those 'Sandboxed' guests should not appear for that user account. Next, change the account used for monitoring your vCenter in Orion with the account you created in the previous step. Orion will respect the limited permissions and only collect/poll information about the ESX hosts and guests it has access to.
