Inspired by: Problem creating a Linux 'service' to handle startup - Database Performance Analyzer (DPA) Forum
After wasting some time trying different options to make one myself, I realized that this is simply a table-stakes feature. Such a service setup is provided in the Windows distribution.
Please update the DPA Linux installation process to register as a Linux service, or at the very least provide a systemd compatible unit file example. Beyond the standard stop, start, status functions, I'd expect an auto-restart on death.
