I would like to submit a feature request to make some changes to the merge function. Specifically unmerging of tickets and if possible allow merging of merged tickets.

It is possible to merge merged tickets. Can you please let me know what does not work for you?
Also how would you like un-merging to work? Is it only about reopening merged ticket or do you also want to revert the changes? Can you also give me example of scenario why do you need this please?

The current merging of tickets is too complicated. Something like the main ticket has to be an incident and the secondary tickets have to be problems then you link the no do not have any options to merge or flow data from one to the other, a lot of flipping back and forth between the tickets ect. Not tech friendly.
I thought you were going to mention that it doesn't add the other ticket's creator as a CC.
We occasionally have techs accidentally merge a ticket into an unrelated ticket. It would be nice to be able to undo this and merge the two correctly.
I would like the ability to turn the merging of tickets OFF as an option..
