I would like to submit a feature request to expand the capabilities of VoIP & Network Quality Manager (VNQM) to include support for Mitel MX-ONE Call Manager and the Mitel 6800/6900 Series IP Phones.
Current situation:
VNQM currently supports Cisco CallManager and Avaya Call Manager, providing excellent insights for environments using those platforms. However, many organizations, including ours, operate with Mitel infrastructure, specifically:
- Mitel MX-ONE Call Center/Call Manager
- Mitel 6800 and 6900 Series IP Phones
- Mitel softphone
Requested functionality:
It would be highly beneficial to have native support for Mitel within VNQM, including:
- Call Quality Monitoring (MOS, jitter, latency, packet loss) for Mitel endpoints
- Performance and fault monitoring for Mitel 6800 and 6900 IP phones
- Full dashboard visibility for Mitel environments similar to existing Cisco and Avaya support
Why this matters:
Mitel MX-ONE is widely adopted, especially across Scandinavia and enterprise environments globally. Without native VNQM support, we lack centralized visibility for VoIP performance and troubleshooting.
