Support for EMC VNXe.
Isn't the VNXe now supported in the newest version of Storage Manager?
Hi jiewthwaite,
The latest version of Storage Manager added significant improvements for the VNX/Clariion, but the VNXe is not supported. However, it is something that we are monitoring requests for very closely.
Not sure how the voting works, I voted up to indicate I would like to see support for the VNXes in the very near future.
Hi jlewthwaite,
Right now, the voting is one person-one vote. This may change in the future. You can reference all the details about Thwack voting here.
Thanks for making your interest about the VNXe's known!
yes please we bought storage manager because we thought it would be supported, really want VNXe support
Looks like we have 15 votes for yes so make sure you vote.
Ok think I figured it out, clicked the up arrow at the top of that page.

Subject: RE: - Support EMC VNXe Arrays
Umm I will look again, but wasn’t sure were to vote.
It increased to 16 so looks like you got it. Your name sounds familiar?
Hi All,
I am also looking for EMC SMI-S provider in our environments.
Hi karedia,
I'm a little confused by your comment. Storage Manager already works with the EMC SMI-S Provider. This request is for the EMC VNXe, which does not use the EMC SMI-S Provider and thus entails development of an entirely new data collection mechanism in order to support this array family.
If you need an EMC SMI-S provider, they can be downloaded from EMC's website and then Storage Manager can communicate with your VNX/VMAX/etc arrays - just not the VNXe.
+1 for us too.
Any idea on when this might be coming, we're over a year into the voting process.
Hi folks,
So we've begun investigating the VNXe and VNX2e. Unfortunately, in our investigation, we've learned that EMC has not supported getting performance information from these devices. So the question is: Is having VNXe data without performance information valuable?
Would you allow adding these devices without debiting spindle count from the license since all we will get is historical capacity information. I think having these devices in STM to provide a holistic view would be useful, but I don’t want to “pay full price” where I’m getting limited functionality. That said, I really want to see NetApp C-Mode support and if adding these devices would require significant development time that could be spent on C-Mode I put my vote over there instead.
Thanks

How is it possible that so long into this product's life, it is not supported in SRM?! And not only that, but nowhere does Solarwinds make that clear in the SRM documentation...
Any idea on when this might be coming,
we really need this for our environment.
Will the latest SRM 6.6 support the EMC VNXe ?
160+ votes and not yet implemented ?
6 years since the idea was first mooted. Surprisingly, no movement except for the upward movement of votes and the downward movement of confidence. Please SW, the community deserves better response.
I just created a user account to up vote this request in hopes of creating a sense of inspiration within the development community to have this request implemented. This would bring a lot of value to a lot of people!
Can I get an Amen?
Amen!
A little louder so the developers in the back can hear us!
AMEN!
We have recently bought SRM (5000 Disks) and have several VNXe3200, it would be good to have any news on this?
Subscribing to this one. 6 years and counting, jesus storage is a pain in the behind to monitor when you have so many models and vendors
