Please support MariaDB in addition to MySQL. MariaDB is a fork of MySQL created just prior to the latter's acquisition by Oracle, because the community didn't trust Oracle to do the right thing with the MySQL product (a fear that was well-founded). MariaDB's intent is to be 100% compatible with MySQL, so in theory anyway, providing official support for the DB should be relatively straightforward and require little code change on your part.
